REGENINE was created by selecting different plants (grape, apple, lemon and wheat bran) produced in specialized areas in Italy in order to ensure high quality raw material and is composed of:

PYRUS MALUS FRUIT EXTRACT: Trentino apple extract rich in polyphenolic antioxidants, which enable it to cleverly block different types of free radicals before they damage the skin. Recent studies also show that it can improve skin hydration.

MALIC ACID: It belongs to the AHA family and has multiple actions:

• EXFOLIANT ACTION: It removes the surface layer of dead cells by improving the absorption of functional substances;
• UNIFORMING/ANTI-AGING: evens out the complexion by performing a lightening action on blemishes and minimizing expression lines. Moisturizes, smoothes and firms the skin.
• pH REGULATOR.

Malic acid, compared to glycolic acid, has a more gentle and gradual exfoliating action, which is why it is better tolerated by even the most sensitive skin.

CITRUS MEDICA LIMONUM EXTRACT: Sicilian lemon extract with multiple properties: antibacterial, purifying, antioxidant, astringent and brightening.

• Antioxidant properties: Lemon is rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that helps fight free radicals and prevent damage caused by pollution and sun exposure. This helps reduce signs of premature aging, such as wrinkles and dark spots.
• Brightening property: Due to its high content of vitamin C and citric acid, lemon extract has a brightening effect on the skin. It is effective in reducing skin blemishes, evening out skin tone and brightening a dull complexion.
• Astringent and purifying action: Lemon juice and peel contain natural acids that help regulate sebum production, tighten pores and purify the skin, preventing acne and blemishes.
• Antibacterial and antifungal properties: Lemon essential oil has an antibacterial and antifungal effect, making it useful for treating minor skin infections or keeping the skin clean and protected from bacteria and fungi.

CITRIC ACID: Belongs to the alpha hydroxy acid family known for its exfoliating, evening and antiaging action. It promotes better absorption of active ingredients and functional substances. It performs an important antioxidant and antibacterial action thus being indicated in the case of acne-prone skin. Its more gentle and gradual keratolytic exfoliating action makes it easily tolerated even by the most sensitive skin.

HYDROLYZED GRAPE SKIN: extracted from organic grape skins from Emilia has natural antioxidant and emollient properties, smoothing and protecting the skin from the sun's harmful rays.

TARTARIC ACID: Belongs to the AHA family and has multiple actions:

• EXFOLIANT: It is able to break the bonds formed between keratinocytes facilitating their removal, thus promoting faster cell renewal (turn-over) without altering the skin's natural pH. It performs an exfoliating action as effective as that of glycolic acid but more gentle and gradual so it is easily tolerated even by the most sensitive skin.

• COMEDOLITIC: It breaks down blackheads (blackheads and whiteheads) and unclogs clogged pores, dissolving plugs of sebum, dead cells and other waste substances and promoting the natural process of elimination of dead cells.
• MOISTURIZING: Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, it reduces transdepidermal water loss by retaining molecules to the deepest layers of the skin.
• ANTIAGING: Promotes cell turnover, stimulates collagen and elastin production, performing an important regeneramte action on the epidermis
• LIGHTENING: Thins thickened skin by restoring the natural softness of the skin giving tone, even complexion and radiance.
• ANTIOXIDANT: Counteracts the harmful effects of free radicals.

HYDROLYZED WHEAT BRAN: Hydrolyzed extract of organic wheat bran from the Po Valley, it is an extremely complete and bioavailable phytocomplex, is able to reactivate the synthesis of microfibrils by plumping wrinkles. It increases the elasticity of the deep layers of the skin.

LACTOBIONIC ACID: It is one of the major representatives of the new generation of AHAs with multiple actions:

• EXFOLIANT: It is able to break the bonds formed between keratinocytes facilitating their removal, thus promoting faster cell renewal (turn-over) without altering the skin's natural pH.
• MOISTURIZING: A particularly hygroscopic molecule, it is' able to retain the water present on the epidermis and that contained in the cosmetic with very strong bonds, forming a surface film that limits evaporation and restores the skin barrier. Emollient, soothing and protective, it is thus also effective in the case of skin prone to atopic dematitie, couperose, acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema.
• ANTIAGING: Stimulates the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, slowing down the skin aging process, thus proving effective in treating blemishes caused by chrono and photo aging.
• ANTIOXIDANT: Counteracts the harmful effect of free radicals.
• PROTECTIVE: Prevents and reduces damage related to sun exposure (photoaging) by blocking the production of skin metalloproteinases (MMPs) that cause the collagen degradation process

JOJOBAOIL: Jojoba oil has emollient, moisturizing and pH-protective properties for the skin. Particularly akin to skin composition, rich in vitamins, minerals, iodine, tocopherol and other natural antioxidants, it prevents dehydration by reducing water loss from cells. It strengthens the hydrolipidic film, protecting, revitalizing and elasticizing the skin, preventing normal aging and giving it smoothness, tone and radiance. Especially indicated in the case of dry, withered and senescent skin, it restores tone and elasticity to tissues with visible results from the very first applications.

PHYTODERMINA WHITENING: Innovative active ingredient based on kojic and lactic acid and licorice root extract. It performs an important whitening action. Cogic acid reduces melanin synthesis, while lactic acid stimulates cell turnover by performing a keratolytic and exfoliating action. Licorice extract, with soothing and calming properties, rebalances the activity of the two acids.

LACTIC ACID: Belongs to the family of AHAs with multiple actions:

• EXFOLIANT: It is able to break the bonds formed between keratinocytes facilitating their removal, thus promoting faster cell renewal (turn-over) without altering the skin's natural pH.
• ANTIBACTERIAL: In the case of oily skin, it counteracts bacterial proliferation and excess sebum production; in the case of impure or acne-prone skin, thanks to its exfoliating action, it purifies and tightens pores, rebalances the skin's natural pH, consequently alleviating inflammation. It helps make any acne scars less visible.
• MOISTURIZING: Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, it is able to attract water molecules to the deepest layers of the skin, so that the skin feels firmer, softer and more hydrated at all levels.
• ANTIAGING: Stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin by performing an important regenerating action on the epidermis.
• LIGHTENING: Removes any melanin deposits present in the more superficial layers of the skin such as acne spots.
• SKIN TYPES: Suitable for impure and/or acne-prone skin. Also suitable for extremely sensitive skin prone to rosacea and rosacea.
